In Windows 7, if you had Windows 7 Ultimate / Enterprise edition
installed on your Computer or Laptop then only you could install any
other language in your Windows.Whereas in Windows 8,there is the
availability of additional language packs for all editions of the
operating system.
Infact Windows 8 Consumer Preview comes with languages packs for 167 languages.
Lets see how to install any other Language Gujarati,Hindi or French/German language to your Windows 8
1. Press Windows +W.
2.Just type Language in the Search Bar and do check the Search Results on your Left Hand side.
3. Select Add Language in the Second Column and you would be seeing the following screen :
Again select Add Language just below Change your Languages Preferences,
4. Once selected the language you want,you got to Logoff and re-Login to see the changes
Above you can see Metro UI in Windows 8 has been translated to Gujarati Language without me being connected to Internet.
You can easily switch your Keyboard input language by simply pressing Windows + Space.
